My Mom and Dad flew out last week for a visit. This was a huge ordeal for them considering my mom has never flown. They did great and I am very proud of them. It was a great visit. They came in on Saturday Oct 20 and left Friday Oct 26. During their visit they were able to see Corrie's volleyball, Austin's baseball, a band concert of Ashlie's and were even able to meet Jeff's parents. And of course they were able to see and hold Caitlynn and Dalton. On Tuesday they thought their camera had been stolen by the housekeeper in the hotel. We definitely knew they had their camera on Sunday night. Monday we didn't do much to use the camera. We racked our brains on the last time we saw the camera. We all came to the same conclusion.... the maid took it. Dad asked the hotel and made a comment about the maid to the hotel clerk but to no avail. So we made a trip to Best Buy to get them another camera. Thursday afternoon they packed their bags and picked everything up in the hotel. No camera anywhere. Friday morning at 6:30 am Jeff and I met them at their hotel to see them off at the airport. To our surprise my mom had the missing camera. She said that morning she walked by the closet and just happened to see it laying on the floor. There is no way it was there the day before when they packed. We think the maid felt quilty and returned it. Since mom and Dad had already purchased a new camera they gave me this camera. Yeah!!! for me, bad for them. This now means I have a digital camera and I can now update my blog more often with pictures. THANK YOU, Mom and Dad. I love you and I had a wonderful wonderful visit with you.
