I don't even know if I have done a blog at all this year about Corrie and Volleyball. Volleyball really consumed our last 3 months. Corrie had at least 2 games a week. One was always home that we never missed and the other one if it was close enough we also went to. Yes even the babies went to every game. They were quite the mascots. The first game they usually paid attention, clapped and cheered. After that it was all downhill and by the Varsity game we were struggling to keep them entertained. But we still enjoyed the games.
Corrie's team had quite a bit of drama. Corrie was a substitute but I think she did great. She learned ALOT about the game, she was more aggressive towards the end of the year and her skills really improved. I have video but for that game Corrie only touched the ball once. And the only game that Jeff missed Corrie had an awesome game. I don't even have very good pictures because I got in trouble for taking flash pictures during the one game I did take pictures.

The Freshman team ended up 1st place in the regular season. They did not play in any tournaments. I am not sure how the JV did. I don't think very good. The varsity ended up 2nd in regular season. Won the District tournament. And lost in the Regionals. We went to the tournaments. They just weren't playing like themselves. Like Corrie's team the varsity had a lot of drama going on which usually showed on the floor. Next year will be interesting as Corrie just told me last night all 3 coaches will not be returning next year. On one hand it is good because all 3 coaches definitely had favorites, but on the other hand the varsity coach is very good and I am sure she will be missed.
So now onto our next sport which will be Polar Bear Track. Yes, Austin has decided to do outdoor track in the middle of winter. He is excited about it and will help him decide if he wants to do track in the spring or baseball.
