16 months

I can't believe my babies are 16 months. They are changing so fast. They are starting to say some words. They say "done" when they are done eating. They say "mmm" and rub their tummies. Caitlynn says "don't" and points her finger at you. Caitlynn also says "hi" and waves.




They definitely have their own personalities. Dalton is pretty laid back. He LOVES to throw things. This was cute at 9 months old when he wanted to throw balls. It is not so cute now when he throws EVERYTHING. Food, balls, toys... if it is in his hand he will throw it. Caitlynn... well Caitlynn is Caitlynn. One minute she can be this princess loving up to you and giving you hugs and kisses. The next minute she will turn on you and hit you. She definitely rules the roost. She still has to be involved in everything and if Dalton has it she wants it.



Their differences can be seen from the minute they wake up.

Caitlynn will wake up and immediately start crying.







Dalton will wake up and play and talk









At lunch Dalton will make a huge mess with his food. You can almost guarantee something will be thrown.









Caitlynn is very danty with her food. She takes little tiny nibbles. She is even getting pretty good about using a spoon.









For nap time Caitlynn will fall asleep right away just about anywhere.







Dalton will NEVER fall asleep in your arms and usually not anywhere where there is something going on. He does fall asleep easily if you put him in his crib though.





The one thing they have in common is their love of their cartoons. They will sit for the longest time watching these stupid cartoons that are designed just for babies. They drive me so crazy I almost want to watch a soap.
