Last Days of Summer

Wednesday was the first day of school. Ashlie kindly reminded me it was her last First day of High School. How nice of her as I sit here crying over the thought of my babies are all in High School. Well besides the two little ones... The last day of summer was uneventful. It was just like any other hot summer day.

Corrie and Ashlie played cards

Austin played with the kids on the street. Here is a picture of a few of them. Who is missing is his 7 year old girlfriend. I don't know if Austin claims her as his girlfriend but I am pretty sure she thinks he is her girlfriend. If Austin isn't outside she is at the door asking if Austin can play.

The babies "loved" each other. This actually is Caitlynn giving Dalton a kiss. When they were younger Caitlynn always had to touch Dalton. Now she loves to give him kisses which consists of her smothering him to death. He usually puts up with it for a little bit.

Jeff worked but came home for lunch
I ran errands like crazy since I finally came out of denial that the kids will be back in school and I won't have their help with the babies during the day.

I deposited our paycheck at Costco
which took up too much time so I didn't get to spend too much time at my next destination
The library. Yes that is the library. Isn't it gorgeous. I am not sure what the building used to be.
I did manage to find three books. Ok start the eye rolling. I got another book on the Antietam battle, a book on finding your ancestors in cemeteries, and a book on how to write your own genealogy book. Now just to find the time to read them.
