At the end of June before we moved to Virginia Austin went to Ocean City with a friend as a kind of going away "I'll see you later" kind of day. They swam a little, but mostly went roller blading up and down the board walk.
They were in for quite a treat when they discovered the Maryland State Fireman's parade was coming down the street. Austin took about a bazillion pictures of every single fire truck. I won't bore you with all of those. (Opps sorry to all those Firefighter fans (Jeff and Greg) who really want to see them.) Austin did come across this crazy car. Austin said it is a batman car. Not really sure why. It has fans, keyboards, phones... JUNK... glued on to the car. I think SOMEONE has way too much idle time on their hands.
At the end of school Corrie's friends surprised her with an "I'll see you later" Party. She thought it was just an end of school party with all of her friends.
They went swimming, ate, laughed, and I am sure gossiped. She received several gifts
She had a great time, but was very sad to leave her friends. One of her friends they had every single class together and even played softball together. I am sure she will make just as good as friends here in Virginia.
