3 weeks!!

Holy Cow!! 3 weeks and not even a peep from me. Sorry about that. We have been busy moving. We have moved 1 1/2 hours away into a nice big house that will definitely fit all of us. I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel with all of the boxes. Moving is very interesting when you have two VERY mobile babies wanting to help.

Dalton quickly found the stairs and amazed us all by how fast he can climb up them. So here is Daddy and Dalton putting up the baby gates.

Not only can he put up baby gates but he also does dishes. He was standing at the door of the dishwasher and before I knew it he had climbed on. I hate the cliche "he is all boy" but I am telling you. HE IS ALL BOY!!. If he can't climb on top of it and is either in it or trying to figure out how it works.

I'll update you later on our house once I get everything in its place. In the meantime here is a picture of Jeff staking his claim.

For the 4th we went back over to Maryland for the weekend. Our friends just put this absolutely wonderful deck onto their house. It has been used not stop since.

We have been wanting to show everyone how to play the game "Spoons" for the longest time. A leisurely day on the deck provided just the opportunity. Ashlie was given strict rules this was to a "no contact" game of Spoons. If you have ever played with her you know what I am talking about.

Later that evening we watched some not so exciting fireworks. To the disappointment of my kids I didn't even buy any for us. Our friend Beth saved the day, though, and had some sparklers.

That weekend Ashlie had a few friends over at our friends house for an "I'll see you later" party. (It was suppose to be a good-bye party, but since we are only 1 1/2 hours away and no one really wanted to say good-bye it became a "I'll see you later" party.

Ashlie wanted to play full contact Spoons with her friends so they went out on the lawn where no one or nothing could get hurt. I think they ended up talking more than playing. Everyone ended up having a great time though.

I love this picture of Dalton. Jeff just put these over-alls on Dalton until he could go get a shirt for him. But we loved the Farmer Brown look so much we never did put a shirt on him. I am not sure which family member took this picture but I love that they changed the color. I am lucky all my kids are very talented at taking pictures.

Next on the agenda.... Dalton and Caitlynn turn 1!!! and Corrie and Austin return from a youth mission trip to Tennessee. Stay tuned......
