This year Corrie won the Outstanding performer for a Freshman award for Band. She also won section Leader for next year making her the youngest Section Leader.
For Softball she lettered and won the Sportsmanship award. Here is the video of what the coach had to say about Corrie.
This is a prime example of how you should listen to your mother. In the beginning of the season Corrie sat on the bench for a few games. I told her to keep her attitude up and show the coach you want to be there. If you give her an attitude she will never play you. She did that and ended up the season by playing the entire game. Although it was in the outfield she was just happy to be playing.
