Austin has always liked art. This year he was very fortunate to have a very good art teacher who made him the teachers pet. You would find Austin in the art room any chance he had. He even made the teacher brownies for her birthday. So it was no surprise when Austin wanted to enter his art in the local art shows. There were two art shows at the local high schools and then his fire hat piece made it to district and was displayed at the District School office. He didn't have the bird done by then or I am sure that would have made it.
Austin is very sad that next year he just doesn't have the room for art in his schedule. But the art teacher, ironically (wink wink), will be his study hall teacher. I think someway, somehow Austin will find a way to be in art.
