Christmas Play at Church

Sometime in Nov maybe Oct Mary Ann at church asked us if Caitlynn and Dalton would be in the church play. Dalton was going to be one of the wisemen and Caitlynn and angel. Of course we said yes. Well Caitlynn would not have anything with putting on the angel outfit to even try on. I also know she doesn't like to be on stage with people looking at her so we told Mary Ann that Caitlynn was probably a no. So then came the day of rehearsal. 2 Days before the actual play. (the older kids practiced the play for something like 3 months but the younger kids just a couple days before). Well now all of sudden Caitlynn wanted to be a part of this. The problem was there was not a costume for her. Thankfully one of the mom's had an angel costume her daughter wore when she was little. At the end of the play the kids went up to the manger. They were only on stage for one song. We couldn't see Caitlynn she was back in the corner. That's ok. That is probably where she felt safest . Just happy she participated. Dalton is about in the middle of the little kids. With a black kings outfit on. Ya, right about the lady with white hair. Hee Hee Sorry about that.


The program was a cute story about kids finding the meaning of christmas while shopping for their teacher at the mall. They had a few kids with speaking lines but most of the kids stood and sang.
