Christmas Morning

I was really looking forward to Christmas morning because this is the first year that Caitlynn and Dalton actually understood Santa and that he was bringing presents on this day. Caitlynn woke me up around 8am and then we woke Dalton up. Jeff was already up. We came downstairs and opened our stockings. They were excited. Not as excited as I thought they would be but they were excited. We got uncle Eric up and Austin and Corrie. Ashlie was at her fiance's. We started handing out gifts around 9 and then Ashlie arrived. Before we handed out presents we gave Rusty his presents. He is sooo funny with his gifts. He prances around and shows it off.


I like to have each kid take turns opening presents. That way everyone can see what each other got. Dalton and Caitlynn for the most part where patient and took turns.

Starting about Oct every single commercial. I mean EVERY single commercial we heard. I want that... I want that.... One day Jeff and Dalton were either picking up or taking Corrie to work (K-Mart) when he saw a Star Wars Helmet. He just HAD to have it. Well Santa must have heard him...

Dalton also go a police uniform with handcuffs, a holster, walkie talkie. A couple of remote control cars and of course Transformers. Transformers is his big thing right now.

Corrie got boots, jewlery box with jewlery, an airbrush nail kit, and a shelf unit.

Austin got paint set, a camera, an art table and some work out videos

Ashlie got a kindle, a camera, a household tool kit and some work out videos

Caitlynn got a barbie head to do her hair, makeup and nails, barbie dolls, and a littlest pet show play set. She also got some dress up stuff.

My brother moved in with us in Nov and since then has fallen in love with our Kerig. So what better gift. His own!!

It was a great day. We opened presents, laughed, and didn't get out of our pj's all day. Ashlie didn't stay at the house too long, but it was still a good day.
