Ashlie turns 18!!!

I know Ashlie's 18th Birthday wasn't everything she had dreamed of. It was just a boring birthday as always... but we actually celebrated it on time (unlike Corrie and Austin's birthday) Ok well sort of.

The weekend of her birthday was the big Apple Blossom Festival where our little town of 20,000 turns into 250,000. I volunteered to help with the Jazz Festival and unfortunately it was on her birthday. So we went out to eat the night before her birthday.

And guess where she wanted to go. Red Lobster. As if she doesn't work there enough she wants to celebrate her birthday there. Ok well.. it wasn't because of the building it was because of the food. She loves seafood especially salmon and crab legs.

Ashlie got a GPS so she can find her way in the world when she goes off to college in 4 very short months
Caitlynn helping her blow out her candle
Caitlynn helping her eat her ice cream. It actually was pretty funny. We were all talking not paying attention. Next thing we see Caitlynn eating Ashlie's ice cream like this

The day of her birthday we all have Apple Blossom things to do. Corrie and Ashlie marched in the parade and I had my event to volunteer at. That evening Corrie, Ashlie and Austin went to the carnival to play games.

Sunday the girls went to church and then Ashlie had to work. Ashlie called on her way home asking if we were going to have cake and ice cream for her birthday. I said, "oh ya, if you stop and pick it up". How nice of me I know.

So Ashlie stopped and picked out her cake. This is what my 18 year old picked up.... A winnie the Pooh cake. I thought it was hilarious!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ASHLIE!!!! We love you!!!
