Ashlie's Prom

Ashlie rallied up some girl friends to go to the Prom with. She was suppose to go the Prom with her boyfriend but he broke up with her a couple of weeks ago. She already had the dress so I am so proud of her of going dispite the heartache. On Friday, the day of the prom, I took her and a friend to get their hair done. Apparently Ashlie was struck by lightening while they were teasing her hair.



Her hair turned out beautifully.



After their hair appointment they went to another friends house to do their nails and make up. At this house they got their pictures taken by a professional photographer. I don't have the pictures yet but here is a sneak peek.

They were absolutely gorgeous. After their photo shoot they went to dinner and then on to the Prom. This was Ashlie's first dance ever. Plus she knew her ex-boyfriend was going to be there with his new girlfriend. To say the least she was a little nervous and excited. After the Prom she went to an after Prom party hosted by the PTA. She didn't get home until 6am. She said she had an amazing evening. She danced most of the songs. She danced with girl friends, boys and even by herself. No matter what she was set to have a good time. What topped off the evening was the look of absolute boredom and misery on her ex-boyfriends face. Oh well. Too bad :-)
