One Year Ago

We found out I was pregnant on Dec 1, 2006. One week later Jeff left Idaho for Maryland. It wasn't until January 10, 2007 that I had my first doctors appointment. I really really wanted twins. I had to talk the doctor into giving me an ultrasound that day just to see if we were having twins or not. As soon as the image came up on the ultrasound machine there they were... peanut A and peanut B. I was so excited. I ran out to the car to call Jeff. I left him a message to call me immediately. I then went to my friend, Tanya's house. All what I could do was hand her the picture. I was crying with so much joy. Jeff called and he couldn't tell if I was happy or sad and he had no idea what was going on. I finally was able to get these now famous words out.. "How do you feel about 6 kids?" There was silence on the other end. My emotions now turned to concern that Jeff wasn't as excited as I was. He finally spoke.. "You have 6 babies inside of you?" Oh my gosh!! No! We have 4 kids now and another 2 is 6." He still wasn't comprehending what I was saying. The shock of having 6 babies inside of me made him a little light headed and he actually was about ready to pass out. He soon understood we were having twins and has been just as excited as me ever since.

My have they grown, but our excitement of them hasn't wained. If anything we are more excited every day. Everyday is some new adventure.
