Massenhutten

In the spring my Aunt told me they have a timeshare and I could use it this year if I wanted. I told her of course. How about for Jeff and mine anniversary in Oct. I told her the weekend and she picked the place. I didn't know where it was until a couple weeks away. To my very very pleasant surprise it was about an hour away from us. I had never heard of the place but I guess it is a pretty popular place around here. It is a ski resort so I guess since I don't ski I hadn't heard of it. The plan was for me and Jeff to go on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Then on the next Friday night we would bring everyone else. Well Corrie and Austin had homecoming so they didn't want to go. Ashlie lives about 15 minutes away so she came up for a little bit on Saturday.

During the summer you can play miniature golf, go-carts, tennis, hiking, zip line.

Jeff and I played golf when we were there by ourselves and then played again with Caitlynn, Dalton and Ashlie.






Caitlynn and Dalton played for a little bit and then got bored. We only played 9 holes.

My Aunt, Uncle and Cousin (whose timeshare this was) came down from NJ on Monday to take my cousin back to school. They were able to stay there Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday while Jeff and I went back to Winchester for work.

When Jeff and I were there by ourselves we rode the ski lift up to see the view. Ya.. I don't like ski lifts... But the view was great. This weekend the fall colors were at their peek. Absolutely gorgeous

This was the best weekend. It was so great to just get away with my husband for a couple of days. THANK YOU!!! Aunt Colleen and Uncle Jerry!!!!
