In early Oct Cody was on leave for 10 days. During that time his mom had planned a celebration dinner for him on becoming a Marine. After the dinner Cody proposed to Ashlie. I learned at the dinner this was going to happen. I am not sure when Ashlie found out but she either knew for sure or thought it was going to happen on this night. Even 4 of her housemates from college came down for the dinner. The pictures of from a video one of her housemates filmed.

The engagment ring...
There is no official date for the wedding yet. Cody doesn't want the wedding until after his first deployment and Ashlie is going to finish college first. So in another 2 years. Definitely will keep you posted on that.
