He does ok with it. In this picture he is playing with a water bottle to distract him. Today I took him back into the doctor and he is on the vurge of going into the hospital. He is still having problems breathing and his oxygen level is way down. If he gets even a little worse or isn't considerably better by tomorrow morning when I take him back in to the doctor then he will probably end up in the hospital.

Oh My!!!
Last Saturday morning we went to breakfast and in the resturant there was a sign you can buy that said "I can't have a crisis this week, My schedule is full". I laughed and told everyone I need to buy that. Well apparently Dalton did not understand the message. In my last blog I told you Dalton developed a cough and wasn't feeling too well. Well it ended up being pneumonia. Tuesday he was wheezing quite a bit when I took him to his well baby appointment. The doctor didn't diagnois him that day. The next day he was considerably worse so I took him to a different doctor. We took x-rays and was diagnoised with pneumonia. He has to use a nepulizer every 4 hours. The tube below the mask has medicine in it and uses compressed air to deliver the medications in a mist.

Gloria was about Dalton's age when she was hospitalized for 4 days with RSV. All the nurses would laugh and say there was no way she could be sick- she was so chubby and pink and healthy looking that it was hard for hospital staff to grasp just how ill she was. They took great care of her, though, and it was reassuring to know that I didn't have to take care of such a sick baby on my own. I'll be praying for sweet Dalton.
