Midnight Summer's Dream

Austin was in the play Midnight Summer's Dream by William Shakespear. He played the part of Fancies Flute and Thisbe. He, of course, did an absolutely wonderful job. Even though this was a Shakespearan play and I could hardly understand the words and what was going on I really enjoyed it. Everyone did a great job.

Ok so you can appreciate why Austin looks so "GORGEOUS" in these photo's I have to explain the play a little bit. Austin's part is really a play within a play. Within the actual story of the play a group of actors are set to perform a play called "Prymus and Thisbe" at the wedding of
Duke Theseus of Athens and Amazon queen, Hippolyta. Once of those actors is Austin. He is playing the part of Francis Flute. Francis Flute is assigned the role of Thisbe for the play. Thisbe is the girl that is to marry Prymus.
If you remember in Shakespearan time all parts are played by boys. So the pictures of Austin are of him as Francis Flute playing Thisbe. The actors of the play 'Prymus and Thisbe' are horrible actors and really act as the comical part of the entire play. It was absolutely hilarious.
