Easter

Decorating the eggs for Easter. Usually this is a big family event. But I don't even think Corrie, Ashlie, or Austin decorated eggs this year. I don't even think Ashlie was home to do it.

Dalton and Caitlynn enjoyed themselves though


We kept telling Caitlynn and Dalton we decorate the eggs and the Easter bunny will then hide them. The easter bunny will also leave other eggs with candy inside them. They kept bringing up the carrot and how the easter bunny was going to hide carrots too. No idea where they heard that... But the Easter DID hide carrots. That darn Easter Bunny.

They both received new backpacks from the Easter bunny and had to immediately but them on and go look for eggs. Caitlynn did a much better job finding eggs than Dalton did.

But he still got a basket full. Ok so there were eggs all over the yard. Tons of them. That Easter Bunny must be pretty special to put Candy in all those eggs. :-)

On Sunday we went to church. We tried to get a family photo but Caitlynn wouldn't have anything of the sort. This the best we could do.

Ashlie's boyfriend also joined us for the church service. It actually was a big deal he came and we were very glad he did.
