Corrie and Austin's Birthday

For Corrie and Austin's big 16th birthday party we went to the fun center. Corrie invited friends from Maryland and Virginia and Austin invited his girlfriend. My friend came to help play with the babies.

The babies were hilarious. The fun center had a jungle gym with tubes to crawl through and balls to jump in, but Caitlynn and Dalton wouldn't go near it. Instead they kept sliding down this little tiny slide made for babies. They would go down and then run over to us and say "I did it!!" I can't believe I didn't get a picture of their playing on it. We did finally talk them into going into the balls, but they didn't play too long

They also played on the bumper cars. Austin and his girlfriend also rode the bumper cars and played games. The fun center had a laser tag but the kids said it was pretty stupid.


While the kids where having their fun Caitlynn and Dalton decided to try their hand at golf. I couldn't believe Dalton. He has never played or I think even seen miniture golf, but he walked right up there like he knew what he was doing. And boy did he know what he was doing. He just amazes me.


Caitlynn on the other hand couldn't even put her club the right way. They had fun at this hole though. The ball went into the cub then down a tube and came out at the bottom of that little ledge. They couldn't figure it out. They kept hitting the ball in the cup and then jumping down the ledge to see the ball come out. It was definitely entertaining.

So I don't really know what I was thinking, but I didn't buy a cake for the party. I think because it wasn't really on their birthday. My friend saved the day though and the day after the party she brought a cake over.



But we had to hurry and cut a piece out so Corrie's friends could head home. Hence the piece out of the corner. Oh well. Candles still blow out the same.


We did get around to opening presents on their birthday. Corrie got a DVD player and Austin got a 10 speed bike. Caitlynn looks like she is the center of attention in this picture. I am sure she thinks every birthday is just for her.

I even bake Corrie and Austin their favorite cake. Corrie's is chocolate, chocolate frosting and chocolate chips. Austin's is rainbow cake and rainbow frosting.
