Home coming... by Corrie

This year was mine and Austin's first official dance. We had gone to ones in Idaho during middle school, but they were nothing too big.

Corrie all ready for the dance.
Ashlie, Corrie, and Austin.
Blake, Corrie, Shelby... volleyball girls.
This year i was invited by a volleyball player on the varsity team. We never really talked during school or practices. We would say hi, but that was mainly it. So, to find out that I got invited to go with Blake (on the left) I was overwhelmed. She was always so polite and friendly to everyone. She was the "perfect" person. She seemed to make straight A's in school, get all the awards, and made varsity as a freshman in high school.
So, when I got to her house, I could just tell mom and I felt out of place. Her house was the of the houses that everone calls the "big houses". And had the family that seemed to have everything. They were also the "perfect" family. I was the first one to show up to her house. So, mom stayed with me. Everone started to show up with their parents, which also happened to be nicely dressed. Over all I was very happy to go with this group of girls and had a blast with them.
These were the group of girls that I went to home coming with.
Before the dance, the group and I went to a fancy Italian resturant. This place was actually really popular with many people going there before the dance. For dinner we all decided to share pizza and pasta. The funny thing though was when we actually started eating. We did not want anything to spill on our dresses so we stuffed them with paper towels. Classmates would walk past us and just belt out laughing. But, the important thing was that we did not have grease or sauce spilt on our dresses. I had a wonderful night with the girls and at the dance.
