Austin, Corrie, Scott, and Joseph. We were setting up the maze.
The night of Halloween was extremely cold and windy. The sides of the maze were made out of gargabe bags held down by bamboo sticks. However, the wind was so strong we had to tear holes in the walls and use several rolls of duck tape, bungy cords, and string to tie it all down. But, the sound of the garbage bags in the wind gave a nice sound effect at night.
Austin in the coffin that we made last year.
Corrie and Austin showing off their costumes, for the most part. Ashlie was a pirate, that stood at the entrance of the maze. Corrie, Austin and Scott scared the kids as they went by. Joseph was at the end holding the candy. He also did a little bit of scaring.
Everyone did a wonderful job that night. The kids and grown ups that did go into the maze were astonished of what teenagers were willing to put together all for Halloween. Not many kids were on our street, because we are on the side street. However, it still was a really fun night.
All our hopes for next year are even greater. Hopefully this coming year we'll put more thought and time into scaring little kids.
