Pumpkin hunting

Ok I can't handle the pressure anymore :-) I will try to keep my blog more up to date. I actually now I have a somewhat functional digital camera and Ashlie's old computer so I feel like I am somewhat back into the 21st century.

I will need to ease into this... so let's start with last weekend. Pumpkin Hunting

Corrie really wanted to take Caitlynn and Dalton to the pumpkin patch. We did go, but we didn't go out in the field looking for pumpkins. 2 problems 1) I don't think Caitlynn and Dalton would have had a clue what they were suppose to be doing and 2) I think the field was pretty wet from it raining like crazy the days previous. So we settled on the attractions close to the parking lot.

We saw chickens, roosters, goats, and cows. Caitlynn actually really wanted to pet the animals. Usually she wants nothing to do with them.

Then we went running around a maze.
We played on the tractors
And then we finally got to pick out our pumpkins. Ok I KNOW this is a box full of pumpkins. But Dalton and Caitlynn couldn't even decide on which pumpkin was the best from these. Dalton kept running to look at the Gords so he picked out a gord instead
Well you can tell how out of practice I am taking pictures. I didn't even get a picture of Caitlynn and Dalton with their pumpkins. No one else got pumpkins here because there is a place down the street that practically gives them away the day before Halloween. So that's what we are going to do. Then we will carve our pumpkins. Sooo stay tuned. I might even take pictures. Better yet.. I might actually post them before the next holiday.. Yikes!! That's in 3 weeks.
