The Christmas pose

I definitely know a job I could not do is take professional pictures of kids. Holy Cow! First of all I can't get the two little ones to hold still for anything. I was trying to get their picture of them in one of the Christmas outfits. I never did get a picture of them in their other Christmas outfit, but I still have some time before they grow out of them

My first mistake was having them STAND.

My next mistake was having them sit NEXT to each other. Caitlynn is trying to give Dalton a kiss and he isn't very appreciative.

These pictures of them by themselves SITTING is better. But I really want a family picture

There is is much better. Well except I can NEVER get the older kids at home at the same time. This one had to be taken without Lauren

And this one had to be taken without Ashlie because she was working. Good thing we had their cousin stand in for Ashlie.

Ok so the kids don't look too excited. That is because this shot probably took a zillion takes to get Dalton and Caitlynn looking the same direction. Actually this picture has a funny story. We held the camera up to take a picture and Jeff said, "Say Cheese". Caitlynn goes "...eese" and smiles. It was hilarious. She has never said that before. So we had to keep taking pictures because it was so funny and we were all laughing. Now everytime you pull out a camera she says " ..eese"

We also did make it to see Santa. We thought it was going to be a big production and Caitlynn and Dalton would hate Santa. They actually really didn't care. It isn't the best picture of everyone, but no one is crying. They are all in the same place(with the exception of Lauren) and everyone is actually looking at the camera. I'll TAKE IT!!
