Apple Blossom Festival

Every year at the end of April this place turns totally insane with some 250,000 people descending upon it. It is the Apple Blossom Festival. It last for about 10 days with tons and tons of events. The two biggest events are the Firemans Parade and the Grand Feature Parade. The Firemans Parade is on Friday night and is the largest the country. It has firetrucks from all over. The parade lasts about 4 hours.... Yes I said 4 hours... and we sat for the entire thing. Caitlynn and Dalton did awesome.

Corrie marched in both parades (ok so I don't have a good picture of her.. but look at that awesome flag :-) )

We also went to the Grand Feature Parade which also lasted about 4 hours. I am telling you this town knows how to do a parade. This time we went over to a friends house and watched it from her balchony. We did a whole lot of eating and not much watching so not too many pictures.
Then that night Corrie, Austin and I went to the Circus. Yes the circus. I wanted to go last year but they were sold out. So this year I made sure we went. We didn't think Caitlynn and Dalton would sit through it after sitting most of the day watching the parade.
Corrie, Austin and I really enjoyed ourselves. The best part was the motorcylces inside the sphere, but of course I couldn't get good pictures of them.

On Friday morning before the Firemans Parade we did go see some the firetrucks in person. Dalton enjoyed looking at all of them with Jeff. Now if this was Jeff's blog he would have every picture of every single firetruck... close up and at a distance... But this is my blog and the elephant picture will suffice. :-)
